Our thanks to the many people who have helped in the preparation of the Morgan for the event:
Todd Millam at J E Pistons for an equally glorious set of forged aluminium pistons purpose made to produce an 8:1 compression ratio www.jepistons.com
Chris Conoley and Stuart at Mass Racing for the preparation of a great engine and the dynoing of it on 40% paraffin mix! (even if it did come out at 8.5:1 rather than 8:1 requested!)
Mark Baldwin at Morgan Motor Co for loads of help and advise in all respects of the preparation www.morgan-motor.co.uk
Terry at GEE for a specially strengthened chassis to cope with the rigours of the Gobi Desert and Siberian potholes
Nigel Elliot for copious advice re compression ratios for coping with Mongolian petrol and simulation of it!
Roger at Autosparks for a great wiring loom custom built for a long distance rallying Morgan www.autosparks.co.uk
Adrian Van der Kroft for lots of advice re the build based on his own Morgan rallying experience
….and of course Philip Young, Heidi, Barbara and all his team at the Endurance Rally Association without whom this adventure would not have been possible……
