At 00:30 hours we awoke to the sound of vehicles. A lorry? Perhaps our lorry?? Unfortunately not. But we were cheered to be joined by two of the service crews who decided to call it a day with some company. Andy, Ivan, Brian and Richard probably smelt the last half bottle of malt whisky! We had a great party, cooking a mixture of emergency rations over a BBQ of Yak dung and finishing off the Malt. We turned in at 02:00 hours, confident of rescue in the morning. We heard various sounds of distant lorries in the night, but all a long way away. We were awake at 05:00 hours, un-refreshed and anxious. I had now read every word, including the ads of a copy of ‘Automobile’.

At 06:00 we awoke to the mumblings of enormous snores coming from our wrestler host. We decided to live dangerously and tried to prod him into life, but he was clearly a very unhappy early riser.
